poem 6

Green leaves whisper
And sway triple pace.
Sunshine and shadow
Waltz o’re my face.

Long notes and short notes
Blown by the wind
Singing their sweet songs
With no discipline.

Tumbling and soaring
The fallen leaf glides
Unraveling the mystery
Like deep ocean tides.

I feel vile and wretched
To such beauty see.
I want to just breath in
And join the rhapsody.

My skin, enslaving skin
Holds me from freedoms door
Enslaved and encased
I wait for the encore.

When then, I will too
Join in the finished free song.
Sing “glory” and “holy”
All my days long!
